Q: What is the age policy at the Lager Haus?
A: The Lager Haus is strictly 21+ for everyone—this includes children and babies.

Q: Are pets allowed?
A: Yes, we welcome friendly, quiet dogs on leashes inside and outside. However, they’re not allowed on furniture, and owners are responsible for their behavior.

Q: Can I bring outside food or drinks?
A: No outside food or beverages are allowed on the premises.

Q: Do you sell or refill growlers or kegs?
A: We do not sell or refill growlers, and kegs are only sold to those with an ABC permit.

Q: Is photography allowed?
A: Photography for personal use (like selfies) is welcome. However, professional or staged photography requires permission from WFS at least one week in advance.

Q: Do you take reservations at the Lager Haus?
A: No, we operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Communal seating only.

Q: Do you offer tours of the brewery?
A: We do! Free tour tokens, however, are non-redeemable for special events.

Policies

Q: Why is the Lager Haus 21+ only?
A: While we love kids, past experiences showed us it’s best to keep the space adult-only. This ensures a relaxing, enjoyable visit for all guests and keeps everyone safe.

Q: Can I bring backpacks or luggage?
A: No backpacks or luggage are allowed in the buildings or gardens.

Q: What is your dress code?
A: Appropriate attire is required.

Events

Q: Can I host an event at Red Oak Brewery?
A: Absolutely! We offer private event spaces for weddings, corporate events, and more. Check out our Events page for more details or submit an inquiry.

Q: Can large groups visit without booking an event?
A: Large parties or guests with special requests should contact us at least two weeks before their visit to ensure we can accommodate you.

Beers & Dining

Q: Is food available at the Lager Haus?
A: Yes, we have rotating food trucks and the Wursthaus. For Private Events, we partner with Pepper Moon Catering.

Q: What’s the difference between your ales and lagers?
A: We don’t brew ales—Red Oak Brewery specializes in lagers crafted with old-world brewing techniques.

Miscellaneous

Q: Can I bring my own growler or keg?
A: We do not fill or sell growlers, and kegs are only available for those with an ABC permit.
